I couldn't pass up doing a painting of this church and the store positioned in front with the big Corona beer sign on its façade. It was a hot afternoon and as I finished up work on the painting, my companion for the day, Warren Hardy, asked me if it was time for a beer. I looked at my wrist-watch and declared, Oh, you're right - it's beer-thirty!
